Portable Reloading Kits
? Version 1.0 // http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36711

Throughout the Mojave, you may now come across a very rare and very valuable item known as a "portable reloading kit". With the right experience in repairing things, you can use these to break ammo down and create different sizes of ammunition using recipes, just as at a reloading bench, except anywhere on the go.

The kits weight quite a bit at 50 pounds but are worth well around 750 caps and will prove extremely useful for any traveller who prefers to use one type of conventional weapon over others. Whether you're a scrounger, an explorer or a mercenary, this item will most certainly prove a worthwhile investment for you.

To use a kit, simply drop one from your inventory and activate it whilst crouched. To pick it up again, stand up and then activate it. You will need a Repair skill of 75 to utilise (50 if Repair is one of your tag skills) and they cannot be used whilst enemies are around.

They can be found at the following locations (stop reading now if you want to find them for yourself but I warn you they are scarce).

  • Blake at the Crimson Caravan camp.
  • Cliff Briscoe at the Dino-Bite Gift Shop in Novac.
  • Ralph at Mick and Ralph's in Freeside.
  • Vendortron at the Gun Runners kiosk near Freeside.
  • Carter at the New California Republic Correctional Facility.
  • Ranger Ghost at the Mojave Outpost.
  • Ranger Lineholm at Ranger Station Alpha.
  • Ezekiel at the 188 Trading Post.
  • Lieutenant Monroe in Boulder City or at Camp Forlorn Hope.
  • Silus' locker at Camp McCarran.
  • A weapon locker in Gomorrah.
  • A weapon locker in the Ultra-Luxe casino.
  • Daniel Contreras at Camp McCarran.
  • A safe at the New California Republic Correctional Facility.

I recommend carrying one of these with http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35370. I hope the new arrival of this item in the Mojave will bring you great joy and that you give it your endorsemant.
