Portal 2 Discussion

How the hell could it be the first they found? What did they do to invent the portal gun prior to getting moon rock? It makes no sense to think of it as either the first or only conductive substance. The most common perhaps, but not the only. I mean if the tubes with the moon rock were shut down, then what was the current aperture science walls coated with? Like I said, it doesn't add up.

That was a bloody stupid typo. I meant to write best, not first. Would not make sense, seeing that the first portal device (that Ghostbuster Proton Pack look-a-like) shows up in the 50s. After that, something in lunar rock was found to be the way best conductor, so they used that. Makes sense to me. :P

Jesus Christ... I was gonna get P2 today but thanks to Easter Wal-Mart was the only place open and they didn't have it.

Anyway, do you need to link your PSN and Steam account to download the free copy? I want to see if this P.O.S. laptop can play it. No telling how long Sony's gonna take cleaning up their [censored].

Co-op was really fun, it's amazing how complete this game feels. It may not take dozens of hours to complete but it sure as hell gives you one of the most memorable experiences you can get with a game of this length. Single player is great, co-op is great... it's just a great game all around.

Done with co-op. Final results for Portal 2: A solid package of A+ entertainment. A little easy from time to time, but it would probably not have been such a wild and funny ride if it were otherwise. ^_^

I have a death montage of Antibody and I running through co-op.

Warning: Mild language and plenty of spoilers/hints at how to beat chambers. You probably shouldn't watch it if you haven't beaten co-op yet.

Haha, that was great. And I apologize for being the source of 100% of the mild language. :P

I made that exact same mistake the first time I played. Getting stuck on the damn platform in the middle of nowhere. I felt speshul. :P

That is just a figurine at the side of the book case. Unless Johnson liked to employ midgets in medieval getup.

Okay... I honestly didn't think this would happen, but I think that I like the new song (Want You Gone) better then Still Alive.

Imagine my suprise when one of the local stores sold the PS3-version for the equivalence of almost 10 € less than the PC version. Well, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, goodbye world for now!

Here are the test results: You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: A horrible person. We weren't even testing for that. Don't let that "horrible person" thing discourage you. It's just a data point. If it makes you feel any better, science has now validated your birth mother's decision to abandon you on a doorstep.

Still Alive is so much better.

Yes, but "The cake is a lie" is easier to make a meme of than "The cake, infact, was not a lie". Even though that's a lie :hehe:

I like "Want You Gone" better too. I like "Still Alive" as well, but they're two pretty different songs and I just happen to like the bittersweet yet upbeat tone of "Want You Gone" more.

I thought this was pretty funny:
[In relation to the ARG]
In a side note, when I first began getting e-mails about the game, I responded asking for more information, and was sent this response from Mr. Newell. I have preserved the typographical errors:
