because, sony probably Payed them to say it.

( i am a ps3 fan, and i cant imagine them saying one version would be better then the other, unless they were payed too do so)

When did they say that? At E3, Gabe said it would be the best console version, but not the best version.

Besides, the PS3 version comes with a free copy of the PC version, so might as well pick it up.

Just re watched the e3 announcement. I forgot that he said "of any console."

I haven't heard that the ps3 version will come with a free PC copy though...if that's true I'll probably do that.

Didn't Microsoft want to charge for DLC and whatnot? Valve doesn't like to charge for DLC, and I don't see why Sony would force them to charge for it.

Sad to see that Xbox is being left out.

Um. Okay. Is this an official redesign, or did someone go a little nuts with creative liberties? ...If it is official, well, I don't see what was wrong with the "old" Chell, myself. :shrug:

(Also: man, the redesign looks a lot like http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091214031346/left4dead/images/3/37/Zoey_Profile.png to me. Maybe it's the hair.)

I don't really see the point, unless there was a problem animating her older face in the new game, considering she was never actually seen, and her face never actually moved, in the first one unless you made a portal mirror. That would be understandable. But if they just redesigned her for the hell of it... why?

I choose to think of it this way: Valve has done nearly every improvement they can think of, added every new feature that pops into their trollish little heads, what's left to do? Why not make the PC hawt? :hubbahubba:

So who's planning on going to a midnight launch? Or staying up until midnight to play it as soon as it unlocks on Steam? I still have to call my Gamestop to make sure they're having one but considering the developer I don't see why they wouldn't.
