Portal 2 is in no way my most anticipated game, skyrim is a close 2nd, but I think SW: the old republic is nr 1

Seeing as Skyrim already seems GOTY and millions of gamers/people will buy the game, Skyrim wins. :celebration:

theres a difference between goty and most anticipated... its goin to be a tough year for skyrim to get it

...whats "portal"?

i know what A portal is... but as for the game, i can honestly say i've never heard of it.

whatever the hell it is, skyrim blows it out of the water, into oblivion, and then sheogorath rips out its intestines and skips rope with them!

Well I have faith that Skyrim will be one of the best games ever made. Seems like I'm being a fan boy of Bethesda (which I am) but if you think about it, over 100 devs, all the information we know now and we still have more coming and they still have several months of development to shine everything over, I think it's pretty evident that it's very possible to be one of the best games ever created.

THIS

Im sure I'll enjoy portal2 and everything,...but Skyrim will be an absolute obsession,....I don't think I've ever been so excited for a game....ever...

in the end we all know wich game is going to be the most anticipated.... it will be the next call of duty probably for november lol

 Sad but True

EDIT: most anticipated by the majority, I needed to clarify because I ABSOLUTELY hate Call of Duty games. Overhyped trash IMO.

http://ve3d.ign.com/poll/388/VE3D-Readers-Choice-2010-Most-Anticipated-Game-of-2011 Vote shows the real most anticipated game! :celebration:

MMO's

Although Guild Wars 2 looks better then WoW, I quit before the new expansion.

Diablo III seems like Skyrim, a game every fan of the series has been waiting for for a long time. I never played 1 or 2, because I'm a console gamer, but I heard they are really fun action hack and slashers.

Indeed. Portal, pfft. They took a novel game mechanic(basically the ability to pass through solid objects using a portable portal) and based an entire game around it. Beyond boring.

Portal is a mere game, albeit a very good one, but Elder Scrolls is a way of life.

It's really not fair to compare games to TES.

and then everyone will be disappointed because it is just another war game

Them's fighting words. War Games are good. Call of Duty games are not.

Red Orchestra 2 should pump some much needed life into the horrifically stale and patronized War Game genre.

im not a hardcoe gamer because i've never heard of a stupid game that likely has no point to it, or anything fun to do? ok...

besides, i take that as a compliment, because from what i've seen, "hardcoe gamers" are mostly just idiots who have such huge egos they feel the need to become dictators of the gaming world and tell any gamer who doesnt operate like a machine that they svck and should quit playing games forever, and i've even received suggestions to end my life by some "hardcoe gamers" cause i cant beat games like demon's souls...

if thats what you consider a good gamer, then... god have mercy on your soul.

A very cool puzzle game from Valve in which you use two portals to solve various levels. You have challenges as well.
You can get the demo on Steam, and sometimes the game's on Special on Steam Sales. Totally worth the price, but wait until it's on sale at 5$ or 10$ as the main game is short. :)

I had a lot of fun with it and some puzzles got me head scratching for a good while.
And, just messing with the portals never gets old. :D

Nowhere did I see him bashing a game. ;)

since when is saying i've never heard of a game, considered "bashing"? :slap:

also, from what i've read in some posts... its a game where you do absolutely NOTHING but jump through portals... yeah, that sounds more fun than skyrim could ever be.

I may be a bit overdramatic, but diablo 2 combat from the year 2000 has combat that makes Oblivion's look like pong. That about sums it up.
