Depends on how and why the person is playing it, though with the addition of mods each play through always brings something new to the table.
Despite my love for Morrowind, a fully modded Skyrim trumps it for me. Modders have really pulled out the stops this time around; their work is truly awe inspiring. New standards have been set for the next game, for sure.
Or you could live off of disability and eat canned beans while you play Bethesda games all day...
In that case you dont actually have to be anywhere most of the time, so you technically aren't missing anything, although nearly every single time im in the waiting room at some hospital thing im checking out UESP on my phone. NO ESCAPE.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to Skyrim, but I play it almost for rehabilitation. When I get tired of other games, it's one of those that I can always come back to and enjoy with a nice, long playthrough.
