Possible armor piercing weaponsweapon mods?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:49 pm

While re-watching the E3 presentation, I noticed an "armor piercing sniper rifle" during one of the shots of the Fallout Shelter game, as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/uACIlXj.png

Given that the Fallout shelter game included many of the items we know are new to Fallout 4, could this by a possible confirmation of AP weapon types in the game?

I would think the game mechanics of a mobile/pad game and the main game differ to much to use anything from the shelter game as "proof" of Fallout 4 stuff, consider we seen other weapons with prefixes like that that sound nothing like weapon mods (such as a sturdy fatman, etc), it′s safe to assume it′s just a shelter mechanic.

The Fallout 4 weapon mod showcase had stupid names like "tactical" in front of weapons.

-Compensated

-Extended

-Heated

-High Powered

-Scattered

-Focused

-Targeting

are all prefixes in the seen Fo4 weapon crafting menus

all of which makes sense, but AP as a gun mod? Highly unlikely, you are still looking for a connection that doesn′t exist.

When making a settlement, there is a bar shown.... For food, water, power, beds, and safety.... Quite similar to fallout shelter...

and? That does not prove any kind of game connection, if anything it just proves on a meta level Beth cut corners by copy pasting mechanics from one to the other and nothing else.

How is basic survival mechanics every game uses becuase they are fundimental to survival cutting corners?

That doesn't even make sense.

And? It proves that ideas were developed across both, Which could also be weapons as well. It's not cutting corners if they implement the idea in both games, especially since it's going to be much more indepth in Fallout 4. Now I'm not one to draw conclusions out of unrelated things, but since both were developed by bethesda, at the same time, then it's not hard to draw conclusions that certain things could make an appearance in both games.

I was referring to the fact both 4 and shelter having the exact same mechanics as cutting corners, just trying to underline that the only connection 4 and shelter has is they where mention at the same E3 presentation.

to be fair, there is a naming function, so if ya don′t like it, ya can just call your gun "bob"

well, since you can't equip all the mods at one, it wont be that long, but we do see some fairly long ones in the E3 gameplay.

Why would you need an extra weapon? - Just load a regular (sniper-)rifle with AP-Ammo -.-
