Possible being hybrid Werewolf-Vampire?

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 6:31 am

Is it possible, lore-wise, to be both Werewolf and Vampire at the same time? It's not possible in Skyrim, but was in Morrowind iirc. If it is, what happens to the soul of the person when he/she dies? Does the soul go to Coldharbour of Molag Bal, or the Hunting Grounds of Hircine?

Kynareth suffocates them for crimes against nature/good taste.

Man, people are really getting into the 'where do conflicting oaths bring you?" question.

In Morrowind, those were crazy bloodmoon curse werewolves. I'm not sure if that should be taken as the norm, because it can infect you even with the corprus. I'm pretty sure you can't be both.

Also, in Morrowind, it was probably a bug, considering you ended up with a weird werewolf-body vamp-head thing going on.

That's easy. The souls of Werewolves go to Hircine. Vampires don't have souls.

Vampires goto Molag Bal, remember Vampirism in TES is more of a disease

Also why? There wouldn't be a reason? Plus it sounds completely stupid.

I imagine wars are fought in Oblivion over single souls.

There are daedra accountants and lawyers who are in charge of that.

they each give disease immunity, so not really. Also in morrowind it was a bug to have them both at once, anyone who has ever seen it knows you get a wierd vampire head on werewolf body thing.

I also agree that the bloodmoon must enhance hircine's curse's potency, as you can catch it along with corpus

It's not possible, at least I don't think it is. Morrowind was a glitch. There is a reason you can't contract both diseases in Skyrim.

Kynareth suffocates them for crimes against nature/good taste.
Pfft. Please, screw Kynareth. They are the top of the food chain, which is why everything else deserves to be drained to a bloodless husk or devoured as a juicy piece of tidbit or lamshank.

Honestly? Whichever Daedric lord has a greater claim is the one you would go to. However it is not supposed to be possible to be both. I would imagine if it were possible whichever one you spent the most time as would be the greater claim on your soul. Maybe your soul is ripped apart and cycled through the dream sleeve because the two Daedra Lords cancel each other out. There could simply be a case of you choose as well.

If the soul is powerful enough, all out war would erupt. The soul of the Dragonborn. fueled by 1,000 slain dragons with an oath or bargin with almost every Deadric Prince there is... I honestly don't think it would matter. I'm sure Akatosh already claims the soul of the Dragonborn and everyone else can ..well take it like an imp.

Here's the thing. In Skyrim, you swear an oath to Hircine, which is why your soul goes to him.

No such thing happens to vampires.

And then there's Nocturnal's Nightingales, and as a Nightingale Werewolf, your soul would go whoever wins the scissors-paper-rock contest.

Or thousand year war across seventeen planes.

Depending on the mood.

They're obsolete, so, erm, inverse that request. They deserve diddly. Or rather, diddling, and Kyn's the master of ceremonies.

You won't be saying that when you're gasping for air.

Probably won't be saying much of anything I suppose.

Creatures, I meant. Spriggans and etc.

Then again, in Daedric Realms, a place not of Kynareth's domain, nothing is "obsolete".
