Possible to cancel the Op Anchorage sim?

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 4:05 pm

So I was wandering around the wasteland, and ended up at the Operation Anchorage quest without knowing it. I'm in the simulation now, and want to get out. Is this possible to do without having to go through the whole DLC?

Aside of loading a save from before you entered the sim, no. You are stuck in it 'til its over, which is 2-3 hours tops. Trust me, its worth your time. You get the best armor in the whole game :celebration:

Ok thanks. It's just annoying being railroaded through these hallways and rooms, each room has the 3 or 4 Chinese soldiers to kill. Feels like a different game....

The good thing is that you basically cannot die with so many health packs around.

And keep an eye out for the Intel.

That's kinda the point. The DLCs showcase different styles of game, and the OA sim was made by a crazy US General to be a FPS.

I blasted my way through it. I guess the armory at the end was worth the unappealing quest.

Just do what I always ended up doing, crank the game all the way back to very easy and just blow through it. I always hated the dlc but the loot you get at the end makes it more than worth it.
