(Possible) Crysis 2 PC Requirements Revealed

I guess they will roughly be true.

But that’s what I mend.

If there activation-servers are down 7 years from now I can't install it? Maybe thy release a patch before that removing the DRM but then I need to have that patch.

Is there a maximum number of activations (like normal with this sort of DRM (mostly 3) ) Meaning that if your HD crashes you loose one activation (if you can even get one back when removing properly). Installing on multiple systems (laptop and PC) can become a problem (depending on the number of activations). That, while the only check they really have to do is checking if on one server a serial-key is unique if not, no allowing the user. No DRM needed and more save as that will it not get. The rest get’s hacked anyway (single player).

Anyway, can't wait for the demo. Already searching for hardware to upgrade my system. I think the GTX460 will be fast enough, GTX295 is faster, but will it be really noticeable faster in game… 36FPS vs 51FPS plus the option to later user the GTX460 in SLI having it faster then a GTX 295 and DirecX 11.

Then the question is, what processor will be needed.

I found this information: http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-460-sli-review/15

If anybody else has information or an opinion about the hardware I would like to hear it.

Just think about it this way, if the minimum system requirements were the one's that were found. No matter what rig we have. We can still have the experience of a lifetime with out worry. But, never forget that those requirements were already heavy for a Pc rig. ;)

my guess is Crytek giving out one set of "suggested" specs.. which will run it on a level they judge shows enough of there hard work at 25-30fps. Leaving the higher specs to the enthusiasts to decide.

Crytek should just go crazy! Show up this gen of consoles for the museum pieces they are! Why? Because Crytek is ready for Next Gen Consoles Epic isn't Epic wants to stay at this generation to maintain dominance with Unreal 3. If Crytek can bring out a game high enough on PC and do it in budget then it will speed up the next gen and give Crytek a chance to license it's tech on mass and usurp Epic.

As I recall this is more or less exactly what Epic did in the 1st place.
