Hehe just wait till you crank it up to max with dx11 effects =)

I thought these were recommended specs before, but I think they are the minimum specs.

These are recommended for sure, they said: if you can play crysis 1 u can play crysis 2, well i did my first run on crysis on a geforce 7300 and a pentium D, if these are minimum they must be the highest minimum specs ive ever seen

Guys, I don't know if that's the official Crytek Facebook page. Here's the official Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/crysis

And here's Crytek's official twitter:
http://twitter.com/crysis

I don't see anything about specs. I would preferably trust it from the links I provided, since the community managers use this.

those are basic you fools
nvidia pays crytek and crysis2 has dx11
obviously theyd say we want you to run in dx11 with our dx11 cards
they wouldnt say hey we recommend running dx10 on a 4year old card

That is minimum requirements people, but I have a feeling that is not legitimate.

The engine still seems too GPU heavy on that minimum requirements like with the previous engines, yet this one is claimed to be "more balanced". It seems a little bit too disproprtionately high for this to make me believe of as anything official. This game runs on consoles that are lower specced than that, I think the minimum requirements will be a high end Pentium 4/Nvidia 7800gt

Also, those requirements seem wayyy too low to be a believable recommended requirement. I am calling bs on this.
