My suggestion is for Bethesda to hire a different company to port it over to the PS3 in order to ensure that people continue buying their games on the PS3. The lack of support makes it seem like they are incompetent, even if they do make good games. I know that this is not the case and they just don't know how to program correctly on the PS3. This is exactly why they shouldn't try doing something that they're incapable of doing with their current staff.
I can say that I will not buy the new Fallout game as soon as it comes out but instead wait a while after the GoTY edition comes out just to see if it works properly. I'll still buy Fallout: New Vegas' GoTY Edition since it works fine on the PS3 but with the news that Skyrim's DLC may never reach PS3 gamers makes me think that I'm investing my money into the wrong company. I don't want to get stuck with an inferior product just because I bought a system that Bethesda likes to deny the existence of.
If these problems persist then what other issues will we be seeing in an even newer game that will be more complex than Skyrim was? Or will they bring back Gamebryo's engine which was still buggy but at least was able to handle DLC?
