Is it possible to Film in Crysis 2?

Post » Tue Jun 23, 2009 12:18 pm

Well, I Have a friend who makes machinima and he really likes the look of Crysis 2, But he wants to know is there anyway to actually film in-game? He just wants the heads up display to be turned off, he knows how to do that but is it possible to remove the Crosshair and the box when you press up on the d-pad? If you know then I would be greatful if you told me. Thank you :).

up brings up your visor :) sorry im giving you a hard time...but when you do videos of gameplay you can use basic editors to remove whatever you please...its not like COD where you can go into theater and remove almost anything

You can remove the crosshairs from your screen. There is an option for that.

If you want to play without the HUD & stuff, you might have to play the "Pro" variant of any gametype. Or is it "classic"? IDK, I haven't unlocked them yet but you can't just strip off all the extra displays and such as you wish.

@ChrisZ47 Its ok, and thank you, I just told him that he would have to use an editor and he is happy with that. Also he hates COD xD. Any way, again thanks.

@Dntmesswitrohan Thank you aswell. :)

Just saying, there is an option to turn off the hud, so then the screen would have nothing on it.

i have to say, you are a complete idiot. making a machinima does not mean you work for them. they are a group pn youtube yes, but a machinima is a type of video >.< just like a montage. please dont be ignorant

There should be a option for editing multiplayer matches.
