Possible future expansion

Post » Tue Feb 25, 2014 9:07 pm

I'm gonna be honest.... Another dragon themed class would be kind of boring. I'm more interested in a woodmen or druid with animal calling abilities, archery abilities, and trapping abilities. Yes scream WoW all you want but it's a common pack nowadays

I am not thinking about whole dragon like class but it woulde be awesome if you could shout but i know its impossible to do that cause it would break lore.. But still possibily to see live dragon is still nice i guess

ugh no more dragons.

How about a morrowind based expansion? Lots of ruins to loot. For additional classes, could be Sixth House remnants. (Dagoth ur's house). Or Argonian slave they just follow my AD faction character and buff my shoes, or are my shoes or better yet an argonian buffing my argonian skin shoes.

edit: Or they could add an Ordinator class

No dragons. It would be really lame to have a sword and shield character only to have to suddenly start speccing a bow for high flying enemies.

Problem with expansions is that are they seperated Tamriel so they need to create practicly 3 expansion when creating one unlles they plan to make all pve zone for all alainces or new pvp zones.

Isn't it a little early to be talking expansions? :/ There are going to be major content updates at least every six weeks... incuding a lot more adventure zones, which require surface land... so I think the kinds of features people are talking about here are very likely going to go in those patches.

IMO if there IS an EP, two or three years down the road (assuming the game is successful enough), we're more likely to get either a Plane of Oblivion, or another continent... or both :)

Whatever it is, I'd rather have it be something we have NOT seen in another game, rather than something we HAVE :P

Yes you could ignore them, but it still would completely alienate all melee characters. An expansion would need to include all classes, not just ranged, and not just melee.

Not a huge issue, at worse they'd need to create three different shards, and change a couple lines of dialog. Like, curse you and your filthy Elf Queen! (For you know which faction)

If they are feeling creative, even mixing the factions might be doable. A relief mission to provide food for starving dark elves, only to combat a Corpus Monster. The rewards could even be tailored to roleplay choices. Do you take a sample of flesh back to your people? Or do you destroy it all.

I thought that they would ignore you and not make dragons as expansion, put them in vanilla maybe?

Seeing a dragon during this time would be extremely rare. They remaining living ones fled Tamriel. A few went underground. And perhaps some (according to M'aiq) are just invisible.

TES existed before Skyrim. I'm so tired of all you people who didn't care about the series before Dragons were introduced coming in here and demanding that your winged lizard playground gets recreated for you and saying that the lore doesn't matter.

Helping Lord Harkon with some quests if he is not already in ESO of course and you have to find him when high lvls. He was 4000 years old or older in SKYRIM : DAWNGUARD DLC, So I imagine he is around 3000 years old and kicking it in skyrim draining the citizens still.

I really don't understand how some of you are so absolutely dead set against having dragons in game.

As was pointed out there should be at least a few around....maybe a lot more than we thought since in Skyrim dragons were thought of as a myth so it seems no one really had a solid grasp of the history on what really happened during this era which is so far from the Skyrim era.

And a large number of people are fascinated with dragons.....it seems to be in our DNA since almost every culture has some sort of dragon tale.

Also lets not forget that this will be a large number of peoples first MMO....and who didn't think running into a dragon in their first MMO wasn't the coolest thing? Come on you all did didn't you?

I still remember my first dragon encounter and how it didn't bother doing any ability on my weak wizard and just stomped on me and kept on going like I wasn't even there those many years ago lol

For people who keep insisting that dragons have died out or went into hiding by ESO's time, I suggest you check the lore yourselves... dragons are still around, and people know them as more than ancient legends. It wasn't until after Tiber Septim's time (the end of the Interregnum) that dragons disappeared completely.
