Needless to say, the game won't run. And when I installed it, it asked me if I heard sound, which I did not. It played the little intro music, but when it asked if I heard "The Redgard can't find his sister" or whatever, it didn't make a sound. I got Redguard ages ago and never was able to make it run, and that wa s on XP. I see less of a chance of it running on Vista, but you never know, so I decided to ask.

I don't know much about Vista, but it seems that most problems we get around here regarding Vista revolve around the program not having administrative rights. Might be the case, as it's not lettin the game access the hard drive.

I set it to run as an administrator and the problems were still the same.

ummm...try turning account control off, its always stoping certain games running as they change there files as you play and the account control blocks it.

How did you do to install it? For me it only gets to where it's preparing the installshield wizard but when it gets to 100% nothing happens.

Did anyone find a solution to run Redguard with Vista? I use Glidos and if I try to start Redguard this message appears 'NTCDM.EXE does not work'.

Are you using VDos32? I tried a number of methods and the only one I could get to work on vista is glidos along with that, I still don't have any music though.
