Possible Lag Question

I have a question....

So in my warrior RP, we come across those campsites in the wild, like we all do. We clear it, and a lot of the time, it's late afternoon, and it feels better to stay at the campsite overnight, than to journey on. So we take off our gear, prepare a meal, repair gear, read a book, whatever.
The annoyance is that sometimes at night, the campfire does not "light." I've found at night, that some campfires get flames at night, only to go away in the daytime. But a lot do not.
So I've been using the drop-a-lit-torch trick, or two, to add fire to the camp site.
Except I don't want to have to fast-travel away, then fast-travel back to get the torch to stay lit... kind of an immersion breaker, you know?
So I've been leaving the torches lit..... Four campsites across Cyrodiil have lit fires now....

Am I going to crash my game if I do all the campsites?
Or have I gone completely insane?

(I want to see fire there, if I approach at night.)

This must be an Xbox thing. I've not noticed campfires that don't stay lit with PS3. Then again, I could be wrong, because my characters are not really in the habit of staying at camps too often. This may change with my latest character, Lady Saga, because she's much more of an outdoors type. She's already stayed at a couple "cleared" campsites. More than a couple, actually.

I've not noticed this problem, but I'll start to pay attention to it. Maybe I'm just not in the habit of looking for this.
