Noticed no one has replied yet hmmm. Well to be honest I don't see why not. Have you tried running it first with WineHQ emulator? I have a good feeling it will probably play just fine. Give it a shot, its free (except for the game of course) :P Image
I told the Overseer of Vault 13 I'd give everything to save everyone, and so I did, I saved them all. Since then I've felt loneliness.

I've tried to run star trek new worlds on vista and I get a runtime error and the game shuts down. I tried setting it as if to run it under windows 95 and it keeps asking for the original disk, which is already in the cd drive. Any other suggestions?

Try windows 98/ME and XP try them all under compatibility. If all still fails try a DoS emulator such as DoS Box if it has a DoS version. If not and you have an old copy of Windows 95 kicking around install it under an emulator such as Virtual Box and give it whirl. Emulation might not be the best but for games from windows 95 back you really are not going to notice a huge difference. Image
