Possible Lonesome Road Image

Post » Wed Aug 03, 2011 9:50 am

Hey everybody. New here, hardcoe New Vegas player AND Ulysses/Lonesome Road obsixr. But anyways, I kind of wonder where the final battle will take place here on this map. The most suspicious areas to me are the Hexagon, the buildings on the far right and lower area. That is, if they are indeed buildings. To me, identifying the actual "Lonesome Road" in this map is quite difficult because there are more than one. Some look like bridges over roads like from Fallout 3. If you don't see them, they are in the bare center.

If you look, (I just noticed this) there is a crater right under the road on the far left. It has those lighter lines crossing over it. Perhaps of significance?

I don't know if this is the whole map. Perhaps it is incomplete or maybe a "prototype"? Just a theory. None of us know for sure.

Also, not trying to spam, make videos on the latest Ulysses/Lonesome Road information on YouTube. Anybody who would like the link tell me.

It could be the area where You and Ulysses finally make passionate love to each other meet each other.

@antisocial21: It really does. Kind of reminds me of the fly-overs in Fallout 3.

@10303816: Did you make that map? Looking at it, it actually makes sense. Would you mind if I used it in a video? Giving you credit, of course.

That would be awesome to see it in a video, yeah I was just messing around with the Divide map on paint, highlighting the edges and the path

I assume the green parts are barriers? Because I hope they indicate that in the in-game map, kind of like how they did Honest Hearts. The outer edges should have been blurred in the base game (for a while I thought it may have actually been bigger than Fallout 3 and they surprised us) and they should blur them in this one too if they can't be accessed.

What are you referring too, the earlier off-topic discussion about HH or the references to Ulysses and the Divide in HH? If the first, what exactly could they have done better when explaining things (be it background, reasoning, etc.). If the latter, the purpose of the dialogue about the Divide and Ulysses were just there to tease us and to reveal small bits of information to get us more excited and hyped, and I think they served their purpose very well.
