Possible lost Nanos fix [no promises but it worked for me]

Post » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:29 pm

I am not sure if the Nano problem is still out there, but if so I did this fix once and I never had a problem again.

Kill some squid dude but dont collect the nanos, open the nano screen (h) and only then walk into a nano cloud.

You should see the nano value increase and from then on it seems to work normally (ie you dont have to have the nano screen open).

This adds the nanos as normal, but you never loose them again.

I did this after I had lost about 500, and since then I have not had a problem (ie I have never lost them again).

I had a similar issue with the Nano Catalyst, but with me, any collected Nano Catalyst wasn't actually being registered into the suit, so its wasn't a matter of resetting or loosing random NC but instead it wasn't being collected.

I have uploaded a video showing the issue I had to show exactly what I mean:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4IlpQyYq1g

The only workaround that I found with this, was to delete the entire Crysis 2 SAVED GAMES folder.
If your using windows 7, you can find the crysis 2 saved game folder in (ex. C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games)

Obviously I lost all my saved content, therefore I had to restart the whole thing from the beginning, but at least now the Nano Catalyst is being collected just fine.
