Possible Multiplayer?

Post » Wed Dec 30, 2009 4:53 am

I know that there's probably been loads of threads like this, so lock if needed.

My friend told me that loads of people where asking for it, meaning that Bethesda would probably incorporate it.

I was kind of hoping that there would be a sort of Online PvP Arena thing going on, or a trading booth that opens in all the cities when you are online, and you can access an online market and buy and sell stuff.

What do you think?

Already been categorically stated that Skyrim is a single player only game, and may the TES franchise forever remain that way.

Get ready for a bunch of flaming. (Also, Todd Howard has stated that there will be no multiplayer features at all in Skyrim)

Yup your right there has been quite a few threads about Multiplayer.

Your friend is wrong though, it`s not going to happen with Skyrim. Todd Howard has confirmed this already in one of the interviews.

You can always try Two Worlds 2 as it caters for MP.

I think limited multiplayer capacities would be great. Like the ones you describe.
I think though that for Skyrim it has been confirmed there wont be any.

But for future games it would be nice if there was something like a simple tavern where people could meet, share stories and trade.
Something like that.

Yeah we get it: a M'aiq the Liar joke. Hilarious.

They try to make TES games have the best single-player experience you can find in game, adding multiplayer would take a lot of resources and effort away from sp and that would probably, imo, ruin the series.
