So I am considering coming back and starting an adventure-esque RP with a handful of dedicated people. The storyline will be based in the same 'universe' as my other RPs and will center on an investigative arm of the Mages Guild. I have much of the plot already and it would play out something in the sense of witch hunters meets Sherlock Holmes plus a lot of action and 'history' to go with it. We'd work together as a group with our own characters investigating various cases. For those thinking "oh boy another lets go kill the necromancers RP" that will not be the case as I think the plot is over done far too much. Right now i'm just looking for about six people to join and who will be dedicated. I've kept the number smaller because adventure RPs where everyone is together shouldn't have too many people lest we have to wait for one guy to post and he doesn't screwing up the whole RP. The smaller number also means that if a few people leave, the RP will die. This is why I stress dedication.

The first investigation will have to do with a strange complaint of werewolves in the forests around Bruma, the issue being that the creatures come out at night regardless of the moon phase. What the investigative team will find out will be something quite unlike what they expected.

Seems decently interesting if done right (and you could probably do it right...). If you can't find anyone else, I won't quit on you.

I'm interested into joining, and usually quite available (even if I'm from an eauropean timezone which might be a bit of trouble if things move fast at an inconveneient GMT time)

I have always wanted to participate in an RP of yours, IB, and this seems as good a chance as I'm going to get So, if you don't mind me taking a space from one of your more regular players I would love to join this. Of course, I wouldn't want to take a space away from someone that really wants it, so for now I'll put myself at the back of the line. If there is enough room after the others sign up I'd be happy to take part, as I can gurantee that I'll be around for a while (unless, of course, something unexpected crops up) and be able to post at least two to three times a week.

I usually stress potential hosts to tell enough about their idea to attract players, but I think in your case we can all trust that it is an excellent idea. Thanks for the new roleplay, I've been getting bored with no RPs

I'll write this up in the coming week. But basically everyone will RP a member of the Mages Guild who will be picked by a high ranking member of the Guild's investigative wing to take on certain cases.

I would seriously consider joining on up with this one. I've been looking for an RP that really catches my fancy, and though I've looked into some other Rp's, I haven't yet really been "spiked" by one... until now. The premise is definitely intriguing, and I hope you can make sure it'll go somewhere.

However, I won't be writing out a character sheet until I know whether I'm accepted on in or not.

I'm thinking i'll have two types of members. The 1st group will be those who know for sure they can contribute to the RP. Then the 2nd group will be of people who aren't so sure but will play out vital NPC type characters.

Well, you already know I'm up for anything you make. And since I'm not involved in any other RP at the moment, I'd have more than enough time to participate actively so long as the pace is kept to a decent level.

I've always wanted a mystery RP on these boards, many of my RP's have incorporated the idea of investigation quite heavily, but unfortunatly i've not been able to play around with them very much because my RP's die quite fast. I'd join this if I had more time to spare, but any free time I've got is slaughtered by my girlfriend, writing my book and fanfiction and attempting to finish using the 20 canvasses I got for my birthday

But if there is an opening in the future I would happily jump in and try my hand at some elementary deduction.

I'd be down. I've always wanted to get into one of yours, IB, but never caught it at the right time. I've had a surging desire to write lately, hopefully this would cure it in a very fun and creative way.
