It's a pet peeve, but if it's not even fixable, I'll live.

Not hard at all. There are even a few mods that do it. Change it to Stamina mostly.

I don't know how difficult it would be but, out of curiosity, what did you want to change it to?

I consider changing that to something more sensible to be a capital crime.
That error has been around since at least Daggerfall, and I'm pretty sure Arena too! It's part of TES!
