possible story supplement for fo4

So I have thought up a few possible story suggestions and I decided to do another one that is not touched very much in the world.

Here are some examples of one’s I have done if anyone is interested.

They didn’t really receive much attention because the forums are mostly inactive outside of a few places. But, the hope is that it inspires someone.
Anyway, on to the story supplement.

A vault totally dedicated to a science experiment of stasis of humans and life on earth stored as DNA for cloning that was never opened or touched by organic hands for over two hundred years wakes up. The people are revived; the cloning processes start firing up. The scientist of their time couldn’t have known that the FEV would be released upon the world. The DNA samples were altered, the people altered even more so. They begin to rapidly exhibit mutations, most of them dying of cancerous tumors and other deleterious mutations, but one percent of each group survives and show strange abilities. The human’s grow shorter, their brains expand, and their hair falls out. They begin to exhibit extreme intelligence. They start to communicate through psychic thought, rather than verbal communication. They begin to view verbal communication as archaic and barbaric. Each time they are exposed to a new element or new circumstance they adapt around it biologically faster than anything in existence. If they are shot their bone’s become denser and their skin hardens and forms sub dermal plates. If they are burned their skin begins to develop flame retardant chemicals that are excreted from the pores. They begin to think they are the next evolutionary step for man and decide to kill all remaining humanity with advanced technology that has not been seen in 200 years some of it not even then.

Before they became aware of their condition the cloning factory was running full steam pumping out FEV mutated animals from before the war back into the above ecosystems. They shut it down, but not before the damage were already done. They use the cloning machine to their own ends, stretching their life span and a means of reproduction for them, as well as pumping out their own mutated army. They control the animals much like the domesticated death claws that the Enclave had. They use advanced weaponry, some alien, some cutting edge that was talked about by their top scientist of their day. Such as, using a form of a tokomak’s device, they create a small fusion reaction in a magnetic bottle that heats up funneling radiation out one end. The bottle is capable of holding plasma at temperatures of 300,000,000 degrees Celsius. Well beyond the requirement of atmospheric pressure and temperature it takes to create a stable fusion reaction. The gun would be no smaller than a rifle. The trigger, when pulled creates a hotspot on the star, and within fractions of a second, it switches the magnetic poles, flinging out a lethal coronal mass ejection. In this case a miniature one. Anything in front of the blast would be incinerated and radiation would be thrown beyond that until the energy dissipates from the natural forces at at work, like gravity, wind, rain, and the turning of the earth. Translation, they are badasses.

Anyway what does everyone think?

snip

While reading it, it made me think of Mothership Zeta. The "humans" seem like the typical alien type, short bald with a big head, only need to be green now.
