Is it possible we will find out more on the Dwemer?

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 8:50 am

So after reading a lot of topics and thinking to myself. I would assume Dwemer had faced with these dragons before. We will never know until more information comes out, but is it possible that we would see and get to know more about the Dwemer race in Skyrim?

If I am right, Skyrim has a lot of Dwemer ruins. So yeah, it's likely.

So they will probabily be more connected towards the main story line (at least the history of it) more than anything. I mean, of course they would build giant steam-powered machines to defeat dragons right?

There's likely some settlements along the eastern borders of Skyrim.

We do. They were absorbisided as an entire species to become the golden skin of the Numidium. You can thank MK for confirming this by word of god.

The mere thought of fighting something with giant steam powered bleh makes me cringe.

I would say that anything new on the Dwemer would propably be very rare, they only lived in Hammerfell and Morrowind. There may be a ruin or two in the eastern border, or maybe some sort of remains from Dwemer wanderers, or from their great journey to Hammerfell... But not much more than that.

I remember reading that there were a few ruins in the east of the province; that would make sense, there being toward Morrowind. Certainly I'd be hopeful, but not expectant, of more Dwemer-focused literature. I doubt there would be any concentration of ruins or cultural remnants in Skyrim, and certainly nothing as close as in Morrowind/Vvardenfell, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Frankly, not to be racist or anything, I don't want to hear anything the Nords have to say about Dwemer. their writings is a hand full of face palms.

Dwemer are awesome and all, but I would rather see more about the Falmer.

I doubt that we'll be finding any ruins in Skyrim. There might be something along the Hammerfell and Highrock borders but I wouldn't count on it.

It's possible since the Dwemer lived under the Velothi mountains between Skyrim and Morrowind. Maybe there will be some ruins on the Easter border of Skyrim where the Velothi mountains run.
