I too thought The Road was a great movie, but please, if you want to watch it, read the book first. The book is phenomenal, and touches on a lot of things the movie couldn't due to its format. The movie is better watched as a sort of companion to the book, and both would be better enjoyed that way.

Its a time travelers paradox movie, its about a virus that takes out the world's population and they send people back in time to figure out what happened and obtain a sample of the virus so they can make a cure. I'd explain why its called 12 monkies but don't want to spoil the movie suggest you see it!

Now, see, this is why I come here. I don't know anybody who has seen A Boy and His Dog, or Ice Pirates. Man, I love you guys. You just made my day.

I watched RE: Afterlife today. The hottest chick was one of the first to go, I was kind of pissed off the rest of the movie about that.

Anyways, probably the weakest of the series. Doomsday, I believe is the name, is a pretty crappy post apocalyptic movie, add that to the list.

I haven't seen doomsday I'll see if its on netflix I'll watch it then laugh if its bad, I get a good laugh watching a bad movie.

I tried watching Solarbabies it was too childish for my taste so I turned it off. BodySweat was right solarbabies was made for a younger audience.

Doomsday is about a virus that runs through Scotland, eventually causing it to be quarantined. Then the virus reappears in London so he government sends in a team to Scotland to find a cure. They end up fighting cannibalistic goths and medieval knights(wtf yo?).

I just got done watching supestarlet A.D.

I really don't know what to make of this movie. It was made in the year 2000 but its in black and white and 60's quality color. This movie was filmed to look like a black and white film a silent era film and 60's color all blended into one. I think this movie was intentionally supposed to be really bad and cheesy? The acting was really bad I really couldn't follow the story and there was a hotrod. I think this film was making fun of old movies. Here is what I could follow of the plot not exactly in order in the film as these are the only things I got...

The movie starts with your usual post-apacolyptic intro explaining what happend and why things are the way they are. Woman are now the dominate species on the planet and men have de-evolved into cavemen. The woman are in different factions based on their hair color. Theres the burnettes the redheads and blondes. The blondes are extinct or an endagered species or something. Their culture is based on old films and they are all wearing sixy retro-styled burlesque clothing. The woman are all lusbians because man are a bunch of stupid cavemen, I really don't know how people still exist if they don't have six with men? I think they mention that they were all frozen I don't know. Then there was a bunch of mini plots in the story which I had a hard time following, I think one of the girls is on the quest to find her grandmothers film and makes a deal with a blonde or something. The burnettes decide to attack the red heads over something but the ring leader gets captured or something? The ending is one of the ladies watching her grandmothers pormo film and there is a guy who isn't a caveman screwing her and she leanrs the truth and wants to go after the queen? I'd have to watch this movie agian to get it not really a movie I'd want to watch twice..

Like I said I don't know what to make of this movie... Is this movie suppose to be serious or is it a comedy? If this movie was intentionally bad then I suppose its a comedy and a classic movie spoof, if its suppose to be serious its a really horrible movie. Oh and there was some musicals in the movie but they were really horrible... I did like the burlesque theme in this movie.

I can't decide if I should put this movie on my good list or bad list... I mean it was intially bad and b-rated. I like black and white and older films so I guess this a good spoof. I know theres got to be some fallout fans who would get a good kick out of this movie, I got a good kick out of it as a fallout fan.

I have another movie I want get my thoughts out about... Just got done watching Steel Dawn, I'm starting to run out of post-apoclyptic films to watch...

This movie was okay... it was horrible it wasn't great. I think alot of fallout ideas where inspired by this film. This film really reminded me of fallout, the way buildings, the way characters look is how I invisioned them when I played fallout 1 and 2. The acting was okay it wasn't great but it wasn't completly horrible. This movie wasn't all that exciting... The fighting scenes at least where entertaining to watch and was well done compared to other movies. This movie was kind of... simple. There was a few bad lines in this movie but the entire dialogue didn't svck. There was a few bad parts but it wasn't bad the whole way through. To me it has to be a really horrible movie to make my bad list so this movie doesn't make my bad list but it wasn't that great of a movie.
