Post Apocalyptic Trap and Skeet!

Full disclosure:

I am at work, doing what I often do at work; think about Fallout. So, if I seem lazy for not trying this myself, I'm not, I'm just otherwise occupied.

So I was thinking, Implant GRX, Hunting Shotgun w/modified choke and a fistfull of dynamite could make for some potentially interesting post apocalyptic sport. With Implant GRX throw objects are affected by in game physics, and therefore are also slowed. With Quick Draw, the courier could potentially shoulder a weapon and take aim at a flying stick of dynamite he had just thrown making for some interesting aerial detonations. Paired with splash damage, it could make for a fun, if stupid, new way to take out enemies.

I'm not sure, but if you can Target your own projectiles in VATS, that could be an alternative method for the less twitchy players.

That sounds like fun, if you had high Agility and that perk it could work!. I haven't taken the perk, but can you hot-key GRX? That would make it easier.

Also, Choke +Slug = Bad idea IRL. (It should be like that in New Vegas, but ...whatever.)

Anyone try it?

(Just FYI and all, on "real life": You can fire slugs through a choked barrel. The lead "rifling" allows them to squeeze through without problem. When I feel like rattling my head and bruising myself, I fire them off through modified chokes the same as cylinder bores. The only warning I know of that's on the boxes of shells I've seen is: smoothbore + SABOT slugs = don't (people have tested them and they display poor accuracy). Foster and similar slugs are for smoothbore barrels, no matter the choke.)
