"Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, wrote in one of his old books (The Way of the Weasel) how to test a corporate claim for validity. Let's try it out on our promised DX11 patch. What is more likely?
1. EA and Crytek, after offering no real news of the DX11 patch since prerelease, lying about Crysis 2 being a "PC game first," and having no financial attachment to the release of the patch, will suddenly turn a new leaf and distribute gorgeous, DirectX 11 patch(es) for Crysis 2 to all the PC gamers for free.
2. EA, the only publisher that has a public reputation worse than Activision, will decide that all the effort needed for the DirectX 11 patch isn't worth the $0 the company would make and quietly suffocates all mention of the patch until a Crysis 2 spinoff (akin to Warhead) is announced, so PC gamers can be made to pay for their DX11. The Crysis 2 spinoff becomes the most pirated game in PC gaming history, and Cry3 is only released on consoles."
Well if no-one else think its good I like it ;p
