Anyone else notice that the patch did nothing to fix the settlement happiness issues? I had 5 settlements bottom out right after the patch in the Pip-Boy saying 0 beds, 0 food or water, and 0 defenses. I fast travelled to the settlements and the proper values returned after the happiness tanked to almost 50.
Spectacle Island still maxes at 88 before immediately dropping to 87 to only start climbing back up to 88. Sanctuary maxes at 92 before doing the same drop to climb back up.
Does Bethesda seriously expect us to either tear down an entire settlement and start anew or build up an entirely new settlement? Or even start a new save file just to finally unlock that happiness achievement?! I know they want us to keep playing, but for my friends, that 1 achievement is literally the only thing being worked on. I am starting to feel like calling Bethesda out on purposely glitching the happiness to prevent people from putting down the game since there is nothing to do once the story and side quests are completed. Not even building is worth it since the console versions are so limited in build space (1 large structure in Sanctuary takes up almost half the bar, even spectacle island fills up easily).
Seeing as this is my first Fallout game, their reputation is so far very tarnished for failing to properly code a spotlighted feature of their title.
