POST UPDATE! CLICK LEFT THUMSTICK TO STEADY YOUR AIM GONE!!!

Post » Sun Dec 06, 2009 7:39 pm

Since the update earlier today the click left thumbstick to hold breath and steady aim has gone, when sniping or using the grendel its an absoloute MUST that you can use this feature, not being able to steady your aim makes any long range weapon mostly unusable, especially the grendel....

CRYTEK ARE YOU AWARE THAT YOUR UPDATE HAS DONE MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE GAME???

this needs fixing asap, clicking the left stick to steady also boosted power usage.

I really cannot believe this was intended by Crytek, if im right then this is a real joke.

Haven't tested that myself yet, but I must ask, are you using the alternate control scheme or the default? Just curious as that would help confirm the issue faster and get the ball rolling.

Im using the default scheme for all, tested it lots this afternoon as well as resetting my retriever perk, this update is looking like its caused more problems off the bat for us players :(

It was in the MP and it did work I used It all the time when using the scar and it made a noticable difference esp. with the assault scope

Yea steading your aim definitely no longer works, however it really should only impact snipers. Not sure if it was a design choice in the patch or a goof...guess we'll see whenever the next patch comes out.

Well it seems to me that the anti-cheating patch was rushed and probably ended up breaking more things than it fixed.
