Dusok (Dasek) Moor, City of

From a couple of map markers from the older TES games we know that Fort 'Dasek Moor' was actually intended to be a city called 'Dusok Moor' (just below Kvatch in Cyrodiil). Anyone ever come across any references in any lore mentioning this place?

Well, a search for "Dusok Moor" on the Imperial Library doesn't turn up any relevant results, and since I know this is a mod you're doing (and I eagerly anticipate it!) I can say only this:

Make up stuff YOU think would be fun.

One of my main annoyances with mods is that some people are too devoted to canon that they forgo what could be a great mod or feature. This is fanwork, people. Use the background information ("lore" is a stupid name so I don't use it) as an inspiration if you use it, but don't let it be a creativity leash.

I'm not that familiar with the obscure accounts in TES but I thought there might be something of interest to add and I'm fishing for ideas. I just hate when someone makes an interesting mod and people jump all over about inaccuracies. I see that too often.

Yes well the reverse argument can be made, that far to often modders don't pay enough attention to Lore or what ever you want to call it. There is another rampant oversight of modders is that when they are making stuff up, or expanding on Lore, they have what I call the "hundred foot tall wall syndrome" which refers to making everything grandiose or mythic. The best way to fit your mod into the existing universe is to make it seem like it was always there, and that finding it is not some great revelation. The more grand you make it, the more you will need to fit it into existing lore to make it seem like it belongs and eventually you reach a point when you cannot any more without it become a totally different universe.

Lore is something to be worked inside, not a standard to be met. There's no real point for a mod to attempt to follow the rules of lore if it's not something inspired by or meant to fit in with Tamriel. Better to ignore lore altogether than weasel into it. If you have a good idea, implement it, and it if actually does fit in with the world gracefully, then break every rule you want.

The modding community seems to attempt to follow lore more than they attempt to learn it.
