the hack im on about is where you have two of the same gun and you sell the one that is in worse condition and buy it again then sell it again its fully repaired?

Developers tend not to go around explaining what glitches/cheats are in a game prior to its release.


Thing is I never saw much point in this particular cheat. All that time spent selling, buying and selling again, you could just do a loot run and make twice as much in a fraction of the time.

who knows they've changed a lot of things so theres no way to know but why bother go on a loot run its the way the games meant to be played

I'm guessing no, they took away the infinite experience glitches with a patch.

Thats not really a hack, more like an exploitation of a glitch.

I agree, but I never used said glitch. I suffer rather through the Console ~ key. I bought the PC version to use the mods, and I can't stop using the "coc testallitems" & "god mode" commands. :banghead:

I doubt it. That glitch is well known, so if the developers were trying to tweak the game, and make fixes, I'd think it woulda been removed by now....

There will still be things that people exploit for their own benefit. Like when you reverse pickpocket a weapon with 1 round onto an enemy, initiate combat, kill them, and get back full ammo. That's not meant to benefit you, but people use it to get infinite ammo.

with the multitudes of currencies I hope not. If its still there, I wont use it, for reasons posted above. Its usually easier to go out and loot a few raiders/SM's.

I always wondered why when I bought a suit of Combat Armor it would be fully repaired. I guess it IS a gltich beyond just me xD.

Repair skill 100 with a follower and buffout. Thats how to make your riches the manly way.

This is my problem as well.
Whenever I'm carrying too much loot, and can't find something to drop the "player.modav carryweight 1500" always comes into play... :sadvaultboy:

heck just look at the bugs and exploits they (Bethesda) added with some of the expansion packs.

I doubt Obsidian would let a well known glitch like this into the game, of course no game is completely devoid of glitchs so there's bound to plenty of other exploits for quick cash.

Exactly. If you really wanted to still use this glitch, you picked a bad time to post about, seeing as how Obsidian has finished the game and is doing nothing this month except for fixing bugs and polishing. So if they forgot, thanks for giving them the heads up! :thumbsup:
