Lastly: I'd kill for Star Wars: Battlefront (2). I know they made that LoTR's one, but that game failed.

They did a Battlefront 2. I preferred BF1 but BF2 is cool though simplistic IMO

I'm not old enough to have any of those I had the PS1 (1st console :sweat: ) but got PS2 6 months later or so (the PS1 was given to me by a friend who had jsut bought the PS2) so never had many games...though I quite liked Digimon World and Digimon World 2003

shadow run........first person shooter/rpg like deus ex (the multiplayer piece of crap that came out 3 years ago should be illegal to own)

new horizons......similar to how akella made those other pirate games but less buggy and obviously you can travel around the world. there is an MMO but frankly i hate MMOs

I'd love to see a remake of Faxanadu from way back on the NES. It could be on any and all systems for all I care.

I wish wish wish wish wish that a proper TIE Fighter game could be squeezed onto the 360's control scheme, as my computer fell behind a long time ago and I don't have the money to update it. Until I'm ready, I can't support the return of the TIE Fighter series - I couldn't bear being left out of the fun because I don't own a machine that can handle it


KotOR is hardly an oldie but I agree that the series needs a conclusion (and KotOR 2 needs a second chance, maybe with Lucasarts being a little less soulless about release dates next time).

Was it a good rage or a bad rage? Because I've never played an MMO for very long (the most was 2 months of Galaxies), but I actually am excited for this one. I might actually get it.

Bad rage. I'm such a fan of KotOR that a proper, single player only KotOR 3 would trump Skyrim for me (I know that this might not be saying much in CD, but the Skyrim forumites would be shocked). TOR being the "next instalment" in a series that made its name by being just about the best RPG out there was a really sore move by Lucasarts to try and topple Blizzard, and my not being an MMO player meant that I felt completely betrayed.

Bad rage. The worst of rages. There was kicking and punching of very solid objects involved.

Yea, I agree with you concerning the fact that we're not MMOers, but after KOTOR II, how could you not feel even a little relieved that they wouldn't put out such a sham of a single player sequel again? If KOTOR III were a single player game and it svcked, I'd be mad. If instead they make TOR, and its bad, so what, I probably wouldn't have played it anyway.

I'm sure that either BioWare or Obsidian could craft an absolutely amazing singleplayer experience given the time. Maybe a next gen KotOR from BioWare in 2015? One can hope...

I'd like if the Spyro and Crash games were still made to the awesome standards of their PS1 days. The hours of enjoyment I got out of those games...
