daydreaming

Being an intern is extremely painful. So I spend time wandering around the forum, uesp and daydreaming. Remembering when I use to play Oblivion and reliving some quests.
I find it really enjoyable, so do you daydream at school/job?

Haha, oh yes. I spend much of my life lost in my mind. College, very often daydreaming. Out with friends, if there's no real conversation, I'll be daydreaming. When I'm on my own, daydreaming.

Admittedly it's not all about Oblivion, but much of it is about TES. The rest is just general fantasy or sci-fi, or particular moments in my life that I enjoyed.

Helena regularly strolls into my head, either to give me some information, or just to have a chat.

Same here. At school, with friends when there is no conversation or at home. I have the ability to sit down outside or infront of the window and just drift off.

Most is about TES, but sometimes I daydream about situation that would be cool to happen in real life :P

Almost every day. Always something that pops into my mind, a long forgotten quest or adventure. A memorable battle perhaps or special finding.
Or just perhaps a phrase from M′aiq :P

Pretty often. I like to daydream what would I do if I were the Lord of a castle and of a small village, and how would I govern them.

When I'm bored in class and the teachers prattling on about nothing in particular, I like to daydream about Cyrodiil, characters I'd like to create and things I'd like to do with the ones I've made. Sometimes, though, I think how fun it would be to walk the sands of Anequina...

So it's not just me who wants to walk Elsweyr then? Cool :D

I tend to come up with most of my character ideas when daydreaming. An idea pops into my head, and I flesh it out, imagining how the character would look and act.

How do you think I came up with Desert Rose? The Khajiit have always been my favourite race and culture.

I do the same as you, I often think about characters that I've had and failed with and how I could recreate them and make them more enjoyable. Readint the 'Roleplaying' thread helps as well.

Desert Rose came at a rather good time for me. I'd just been reading up on Khajiiti lore, and taking an interest in their culture. So now we can walk the sands of Anequina, albeit in your RP.

It certainly does. Many threads around here help me with character ideas. Such as one of the threads in TES General Discussion, it inspired me to create a Renrijra-Krin agent. I've not gotten round to it yet, but it certainly will happen.

Since starting your RP, one of my most recurring daydreams, is that of being a Khajiit. I'd love to be that agile, that quick. Big cats have always fascinated me, their power and grace is something I'd love to have.
How's this for one? A nomadic Khajiit tribe, riding across theplains on great Senche-Raht. So epic.

The time I have to daydream I often spend playing instead :P

Rest is full of real life obligations and work. I do however take pauses to lurk the interwebs now and then. Recently they have all gone to Oblivion forums / related websites since I just started playing the game. I must however say that it feels like I really want to visit the world... and to play Oblivion is as close as I have gotten to actually visit a fictional world (I used to read a lot and not even that come up to par with Oblivion). The immersion is huge. I love it :)

To bad I have missed what could have been 5 years of awesome with it. But I think I have found a game to keep me entertained until a better is released. Hopefully 11.11.11 releases will be even more awesome. Although if they are more awesome I am fearing for my work relation :S ^^

Nearly 90% of my day is spent daydreaming. I write for a living so I normally daydream while I'm writing something. Normally I can be halfway through something and an idea will pop into my head for either of my characters on Oblivion or any of my Forum RP Characters. I've spent a lot of time recently in a near dream state thinking about the history of Piria and how my character there will work. Thinkning of that I have an idea......

Don't know about daydreaming, but I had an Oblivion NIGHTMARE last night. Was in the Blackwood and was trying to avoid a Willo' the Wisp, when I realised I needed to get something from my pack, which I'd left at camp, so I was sneaking back to get it, when the 'baddie approaching' music started, and I began to panic... thankfully hubby woke me up - he said I'd been making scared sounds and he was worried about me...

Think I'd better cut down on the ale....

When I am on my daily commute to/from work (which involves about an hour on trains and about 20 minutes on foot), unless I can muster the will to read, I'm either planning for the tabletop RPG I run, or planning what spells and enchantments I'm going to make in Oblivion when I get home. (Before playing Oblivion, I was planning how to build characters in Dragon Age, or Mass Effect, or Fallout.... Thankfully, Oblivion is so BIG that I haven't felt the need to keep restarting it with a new character each time!)

Interesting. I′ve had game dreams too but not specifically Oblivion. Well, maybe once..

Why? Did you see a mudcrab the other day? :P

I've had lots of dreams where I have watched my character like a guardian spirit before and they tend to happen quite often. Although it prehaps doesn't refer exactly to Oblivion I have had dreams where I have dreamt about one of my several RP characters and actually ended up adding it to one of their stories a few days later, then noticing that I had actually dreamt it a few days before.

I have had Oblivion nightmares in the past but only when I first started playing the game and I was drinking an awful lot to at the time so I think that didn't helped. I've had nightmares about raid bosses from WoW in the past aswell though.

Prehaps I just have a vivid imagination.

I used to when it first came out back in 2006. Now that the novelty wore off, not exactly, no.
