Your characters favorite thing...

That's really interesting! Does she retain any of her past memories? Is there a curse, or some reason behind why this happens to her?

Well, the "reason" is that it's a cure for my tendency towards "restartitis." ;)

Yes, she remembers. There's a dreamlike quality of the memories, and the fact that she is thrown back into the world with essentially nothing is frustrating to her. She remembers the chest hidden in Vilverin, and tries to make her way there. It contains lightly enchanted items or valuables relating to whatever was her best-developed skill in her previous "life."

The only major skill which she always has is Restoration (a quirk of her Restoration talent appears to be causing her to be reborn when she dies.) Even her Birthsign is different. And her skills and attributes are randomly generated, so the result can be a character who is quite difficult to play. I use a mod called TUStartingOptions, which allows me to start at a randomly selected location, often in danger, but this general idea could be implemented from a save at the tutorial exit. The mod makes it interesting; it can be quite challenging to start a new level 1 character deep in a vampire-filled fort somewhere in the middle of nowhere!

This was inspired by the old RPG http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planescape:_Torment, where the hero keeps getting reborn back in the morgue.

Well... Klawed Flaw is a Khajiit male of many interests. He has many favorite things. His favorite armor is the Shrouded Hood and Shrouded armor just because he likes the way the armor looks, and like running around in it when he can. Sadly, he has to wear his glass armor since that's the only light armor he has that really really good for protective purposes. His favorite weapon is any old dagger, but he likes if it has some enchantment. He loves using daggers in general because they are easier to carry around, and he likes to makes enemies think, "Aw. What a cute wittle knife. What ya going to make with it?" He enjoys seeing them wish they were a bit less insulting about his mastery of daggers.

His favorite book right now is The Lusty Argonian Maid. He's kinda gross when it comes to women, and while not being much of a fan of how female argonians look, he thinks the book is awesome... Yeah. He needs to just marry his maid in Skingrad. His favorite activities include hunting, potion making, and collecting stuff. He has an obsession with how much money he has, and potion making and hunting really help him out. He's just impulsive about needing to collect whatever he can carry. His favorite school of magic seems to be the one with the soul trap spell, because he loves trapping souls. He likes to trap souls just because it is funny to him that he can put a big thing's soul into a small gem.

His favorite lockpick is the skeleton key because it means he can pick locks with more ease. His favorite enemies to fight are the necromancers just because he likes chasing them when they run off. He kinda has a thing about liking to chase stuff... He also likes to kill mudcrabs because they are so easy to find, and so fun to kill. He also has some unusual hobbies for a Khajiit who despises drugs and anything with alcohol. He likes decorating his houses, and even likes to swim underwater for hours on end. He's... Just him. Not sure why he's so obsessive... Oh well... He also likes to collect pearls.

My character is a minimalist. He tries to made do with as little possessions as possible. In the words of Tyler Durden himself: "The things you own end up owning you."

Having said that, my character still has an assortment of enchanted jewelry he wears. Most of which he can attribute to saving his life.

Hail, fellow soldier! Good to see another Legion member in those lawless forums :) I'm a Battlemage Officer (currently Captain) stationed at Fort Akatosh, a bit northeast of Bravil. I've also had my share of road patrolling in my Recruit times :) but now I mostly get ordered to do some missions from time to time (although I always end up having to patrol some road or another at some time).

Well met indeed. My decrepit avatar has a berth at Akatosh too, but rarely avails himself of it these days. Early in his post-incarceration career it was different. He spent many a night in the Akatosh barracks resting between Gate closings (and other assignments). Nowadays commitments dictate that he bunk close to the hub of the Empire. As such he considers himself more allied to the Imperial City legion detachment. That's likely why we've not yet met. Or have we? We passed a lone mounted Battlemage on the road the other day while on patrol. Alas I no longer recall where the encounter occurred. We've done so many patrols lately, being between major private commissions, it's all a blur.

He wasn't me. I hate horses :D, and I never use anything else than teleporting and the Legion Carriage system of the Fort. Plus, the Legion Battlemage Officer uniform is a bit different than the regular battlemages' one: red, crystallized-like Legion armor (see my avatar, it's a perfect example of it), plus a black hood with a golden border resembling flames. Very cool. I'll post a pic of it later :)

BTW, if you manage to see in your travels a black, pillar-supported tower in the middle of nowhere, come pay me a visit. I'll have some Felsaad Mead ready :)

Sir Rugrat gro-Shurgak's favorite thing (besides his betrothed, Mazoga) is an enchanted weapon gifted to him by the master armorer http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Sirollus_Saccus It was mined from ore found in Caldera and named Malleus Hebenius, which as far as Sir Rugrat knows is just a fancy way of saying 'big ebony hammer.'
