Andyfall: Clothing.

Post » Fri Nov 05, 2010 6:01 am

I installed the Andyfall body and clothing textures, and I must say I quite like them. However, in the Vanilla game, there were a type of tights (Brown, that went down to the ankle) that I rather liked. Andyfall radically alters this, which is a same, since I quite liked them. Is there any way I can restore the original tights while still keeping some of the other andyfall armors and clothings?

...with http://www.svatopluk.com/daggerfall/download/andypic.stm. :D

You have to either uninstall AndyFall using the provided application or get the original TEXTURE.### that was modified from your disc/installation zip. From there you could copy over the desired graphics, just know that each gender and race (well, I believe human/elf, nord, khajiit, and argonian) have separate texture indices.

It's pretty extensive, it's a commandline program and is reliant on previous knowledge of what textures go where, so you may want to use a program like Interkarma's http://www.dfworkshop.net/?page_id=9.

Wow, thanks!
I made a backup of the arena2 folder prior to installing the textures, so I should still have the original textures somwhere. Again, thanks alot :)
EDIT: So, I found the clothes I was looking for using Daggerfall Explorer, but I'm not sure what to do now. How do I copy them with DF explorer or Andypic?

Ok, so now you know which texture files contain the stuff you want. Just over-write the Andyfall files with the original ones that you want to use and you should be fine.

While you're tweaking Andyfall, you might want to replace or tone down the Overlord class he introduced into the game :D

AndyPic comes with a readme, which gives example commands for pretty much every function you'd want to do with it - there should be one for replacing a specific index in a specific texture file.

I've read the readme, though I'm not really sure if there is something on replacing a specific index.
Thanks though, you guys have really helped me :) DF is really so awesome!
