Looks like the mod to make it fly is not working at all, sounds like it messes things up , i would not risk it until it gets a better fix.

How about instead of making it constant steerable, like a car, how about make it autopilot? Have a console, four buttons on it (move forward faster, turn left, turn right, slow down/back up). I would imagine this would be a lot easier than making it like the boat mod. Also it'll be more enjoyable, you set the direction and speed and then you can go and wander around the deck looking at the scenery.

I bet many users still use this great mod... Has mr_siika or someone being able to correct this bug? My "call sky ship" and "fire support" spells are gone too! I can transport to my sky ship with no problems, but it is in a fixed position (over Bravil) and I can't move it from there :shakehead:

Any specific tips are welcome!

I can't remember but what school of magic are the spells? For some spells if I make the school of magic that it belongs in one of my main skills it doesn't go away.

Pick up the skyship ring again?
I dropped mine into a chest, and the spells vanished. I picked it back up, spells came back.

For a moment I saw the light...just for a moment :banghead: When I do that, I see the message telling me that the spells are being "added", but they don't show in my magic menu. Just the skyship teleportation spell that is working correctly.

Were you storing it in a scripted container(such as Midas Chest)? I mean like one you can open without being at.

I tried both! I mean, first I was trying it on my bag of holding and the same result. After reading your post, I tried on a non-respawning container from my skyship... the same result. Do you mean to store it on a vanilla respawning container and immediately retrieve it?

Er, no. I've had a problem with storing items that do stuff when added to your inventory in containers like Midas Chest. If I place it in it, the script gets confused and it doesn't think it's in storage. On the flip side, when I take it out, it thinks it is in storage. If I do that again(that is put it back in, then take it out again), it works normal again. I've never had the problem with a normal container, however. Just ones you access with spells.
If all else fails, you could try dropping the ring onto the floor of a place, then picking it back up.
Say, just wondering, are you using version 1.1? The one that adds the parachute? If not, maybe updating will help.
And, unless there is a specific reason why you can't easily do so, you could try starting over with the mod. I do stuff like that sometimes.(a reason you couldn't easily do that might be you have tons of things stored in the ship, and you don't want to lose them)

Thanks! It worked! by dropping it on the floor, not by storing it into a container. Well, for the record and for anyone having the same problem (very popular btw), just drop the ring on the ground and pick it up! It will give you back your spells for sure.

Okay, I think I should leave my little feedback. My English is not perfect, so be charitable, please.

The easiest way to describe my opinion is: that's an unpolished diamond. It has some minor mistakes and wanting details, but in general, it's a great mod with great idea and rather good performance. I like the climate you've created in this mod, harmonizing with the lore of the world.

For now on, I'll leave my list of mistakes that should be fixed:

* In the second part of Abandoned Cave, in this place where we find first Immortal, there are just no walkmesh. Two times the Immortal with his centurions has fallen into lava - at third attempt I've got them lying on the ground, just because I've used TCL cheat. I think it really needs to be fixed.

* Maybe the Immortals' voice-acting is bearable, but the voice-acting of that guy with the book is just terrible. He doesn't enter into his role at all, talking monotonously and like he's got a catarrh. It's not that hard to train voice-acting a bit, repeating text in the front of mirror. Furthermore, he doesn't even move his mouth while talking. It really needs to be fixed.

* That ring, which is given to us by the Immortal should have his name in capital letters.

* Is there some possibility to make a map of the skyship interiors? It's just impossible to find anything there.

* Some doors don't have the sound while opening them, and that bridge in first part of Cave doesn't have the sound while the player walks on it.

* That fire support from skyship is just useless for now. When I've heard "fire support", then I've thought about some serious fire attack from skyship, just into my foes. And what I've get? Just single, little fireball, that doesn't even wound enemy, if it don't hit him directly. It would be MUCH better, if you'll change this into - I know? - twenty fireballs with 5 meters range of serious damage. To prevent player from casting it continually and turning it into infinite rain of doom, you can add some time limit, interpreted as a time needed for skyship to reload.

Aside of that things, I don't remember any other mistakes. It's still a great mod, and it would be even better after fixing those errors that I've listed above.

I'm a little lost. I'm outside the cave and am unable to enter it. It seems I need a key. No one has contacted me yet, and I've tried everything: load orders, resting, saving a new file and restarting Oblivion. Nada. Door is locked and there's no indication of what to do.

Can someone help me?

When you start the game with the mod enabled, a guy approaches you wanting you to buy a book. It has the key with it. I think. Or something. :shrug:

500 GP for a lousy book, right? Yeah. And it's empty, save for a map and a key which fall into the players always active "I've Got that!" hands. IE you get them when you open the book, without fail. Of course, it helps to be near the guy when he spawns. I find he's either at the IC somewhere, or right friggin' in front of me when I exit the sewers(player.additem f 500). If I buy the book, he wanders off towards what I'm guessing is supposed to be Pells Gate(or something like that, he says "Welcome to Pells Gate" or something when I talk to him after I get the house, which is kind of strange since he's standing in the Arcane University Arch-Mage's Tower main floor in my game. Of course, I don't know where he goes when I don't give him his 500 gold(save for wandering around the IC Market District that one time).
Personally, if I was to request a update feature, it'd be make him either A: Immortal until he talks to the player, so we don't have to suffer his presence afterword(and so we can kill him and take the book from his rapidly cooling corpse, if we so please), or B: Just have a option to say "Can I see the Book?"(Hang on, it gets better), and when he gives it to you to look at it, allow the player to go My Book Now! and sprint off, then make him able to die.
Or both options. That'd be awesome.

I got this mod because it looked like you could parachute from the airship and also be able to fly it around. But upon completing the quest all I can do is call the ship to my location and act like a floating house. How can you fly the ship and use the parachute?

ah OK I guess I miss read something. I swear you could fly it around.

Does anybody know where I can get the parachute though?

As far as I remember, the parachute can be found in the chest in the captain's cabin. It's a piece of armor.
Make sure you have version 1.1 though (otherwise you won't find it, as the parachute was introduced with that version).
