Thinking about making a new character, and I'm now looking for a couple of appearance mods. Like new hairstyles, faces and maybe some new cool custom races?

You cannot use more than one cosmetic overhaul, but you can use as many custom race mods as you want. I advise against adding more custom race mods than your game actually uses, however.

I know but I don't want to search for them, just give me a list of the "best" compatable mods.

There are certain mods we cannot link to on this site, and there is not a best. I gave you the exact names. Just plug them into TESNexus' quick search. The easiest to make "pretty" faces with are Xenius, Moonshadow and Lattamer...if I had to choose off the top of my head. RBP rebalances the races, whereas you can install COBL Races such that it only adds the cosmetic options. The HGEC body has the most armor and clothing support. What body type do you want? The only one that I can recommend for sure is Robert's v5 males, which I cannot link to because of nudity (a common issue when talking about body mods.) For Robert's mod, I already have the links on the Downloading Mods page, so you do not have to look for them. I also did a premade search for the most downloaded Races mods on the Browsing TESNexus page (toward the bottom.) There is a link to RBP there as well. Ther is a link to COBL on the Downloading Mods page. I can add a link to Moonshadow Elves and Xenius on the Downloading mods page, if you really want to be that lazy...

Ok thanks, it's just that there are so many of these mods and most of them probably isnt any good.. So I'm not so into reading comments and stuff of all of them.

That is why I am adding those premade links the that "Browsing" page. I know that TESNexus can get overwhelming. That is also why I gathered the exact names, to avoid hundreds of results from popping up.

I'd say stay away from Beautiful People because of compatibility issues, instead use either Cobl Races or RBP. Cobl Races is basically a RBP Light with races, hairs, eyes. Race Balancing Project does much more so you should check if you want the changes it makes.
