I think jousting would be fun in Skyrim. It could be another option in the Arena or something.

Nah, maybe it would've worked with Oblivion but I don't think it would fit very well in Skyrim, medieval was so five years ago.

Hmm. That's a tough one. While I think jousting in and of itself would be cool (memories of Defender of the Crown...), I don't think it really fits the mood and tone in Skyrim. Maybe a caber toss instead? :biggrin:

Did you ever ride a horse in Oblivion? I did, and based on that I don't think jousting would have worked at all.

Besides, wouldn't Skyrim be more likely to host "The Tamriel Series of Drunken Barroom Brawling?"

This exactly. Bar fights are a time honoured tradition for all classes in all ages, jousting is a bunch of pampered degenerate nobles showing off to other pampered nobles. [ Unless it's mammoth jousting while drunk, then I'm all for it.]

Yes that would be cool. Infact it's something i have suggested many times in the past. Jousting would be a wonderfuld addition to the Arena. They could even add a team sport, something unique to Tamriel, like Quidditch is unique to the Harry Potter universe.
