MiniMap HUD Mod

Post » Fri Nov 12, 2010 7:22 pm

I thought it would be a nice idea to someone make a MiniMap to be integrated in the HUD just like this -|http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26220|- to Fallout 3.

It would be very immersive and helpful instead of going to the Pipboy all the time. Of course the Local Map needs to be improved a lot because the Vanilla one is very stupid and annoying.

Leave your opinions :D

At first I was gonna say: "No F-ing way that will work in F3" but if someone made it to work with Oblivion then hell yes, someone needs to do one

Yeah but not explicit as the MiniMap, I personally think it would be a great addition to F3

I also find a true mini map necessary. I hate going to my PipBoy 1000 times just to check the local map each time... If it worked in Oblivion, why can't it work in FO3?

The Oblivion version is only possible because of a special plugin for it's OBSE utility, the Oblivion version of FOSE, called Pluggy. Oblivion's OBSE is much more advanced than FOSE, so it doesn't necessarily follow that it's possible for Fallout as well. There would probably have to be alot of work done on FOSE in order to make it happen, then someone would have to come up with a Fallout version of Pluggy as well.

I retract my previous statement and recount my first one.
