FOV changing with scoped weapons

Post » Sat Nov 13, 2010 6:27 am

whenever i have a normal, no scoped weapon in first person view my FOV stays the same (75) however whenever i change to a scoped weapon, be it sniper or assault rifle, my FOV changes to 55 and makes the gun look very small. Switching back to a non scope weapon does not fix this. Even going into the fallout ini to change it does not change the FOV, it simply resets to 55 with a scoped weapon. Does anyone ave a solution other than not using scoped weapons? I've already tried reinstalling fallout and deleting everything in the mygames/fallout 3 folder.

Uh... sounds like you're running FOOK without the most recent hotfixes? http://www.yourfook.com/forum/showthread.php?p=42111#post42111 and now the FOV only zooms in when looking through the scope rather than when a scoped weapon is merely equipped and drawn. If that's the case, try the 7-16 hotfixes available http://www.yourfook.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4307 and all should be right.

Ah okay so the hotfix worked it seems. Hopefully it'll stay fixed.
