I really liked "Arn: The Knight templar." It is on instant netflix if you have it. It goes between like three different languages. English, Swedish and a middle eastern language. it is really cool. There are subtitles for the other languages, so if you don't like subtitles then it will bug you. Good movie though!

The Book of Eli is a very underrated movie. I'd highly recommend it.

Pans Labyrinth! It's a great film - no swearing that I can remember and nothing sixy, although there's a slightly gory bit; don't know if that might not be your mum's cup of tea (it's only a 15).
Or Scott Pilgrim. Everyone loves Scott Pilgrim.

Yeah thats a great movieeee. Also everyone has gotta see Titanic.. But probably not with your mom. White Chicks is funny. Umm Batman the Dark Night.. It's hard to find mom movies  Oh LOTR

Watching a movie with your mother? It has to be The Wizard Of Oz or something.

I did watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG7FDivQLac with my mother last year, but I was 35 and she 58. It's way different.
