Anyone else think this "Radiant Story" feature is go

http://www.games.net/article/feature/101408/living-in-oblivion/ Todd's interview , read the ". A simple "get the diamond from that guy... quest can be done in hundreds of ways now" part .
What benefit of doubt? this is a blatant lie

This isn't the first time that this list appears in here , so far what the devs are doing is deleting posts , locking threads and banning users.

Again you are assuming its a lie and this interview provides no basis for that. What if Todd had Wanted it that way, the devs were building it that way, and other challenges arose in development that forced Bethesda to take another path? Who can say? Not you, nor I.

Devs don't delete posts on the forums either just for fun. This is not a conspiracy. :) They probably find the accusations as ridiculous as I do.

In a game that is developed over years, things change, features change, and the challenges that the dev team faces change - the process is very organic and they have said this many times too.

I for one am not going to cry and complain over statements like this - as they have no basis in fact.

This sounds to me like complaining as if something is advertised as "Over 9000!!!" when it clearly only has 9000 exactly. Feel free to peruse my response http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1163640-anyone-else-think-this-radiant-story-feature-is-going-to-turn-out-how-radiant-ai-did-in-oblivion/page__view__findpost__p__17102531.

If you're too lazy, here's my response to that one:
A bit of an exageration here, sure. But Oblivion still offered more because of its AI (you could steal it when it was left unguarded, you could kill the owner for it when they were alone, you could bargain or threaten them to give it over, etc).

No no no... it's not a lie. You can do it in hundreds ways. here's how:

1. Go straight to the guy and steal it
2. Go to the guy and steal it but pick some flowers on the way too
.
.
.

33. Go to the guy and steal it by jumping all the way to raise Acrobatics
.
.
.
88. Go to Anvil, look at the beautiful sea and then go to the guy and steal it
.
.
.

Chill dude, the dev's couldn't care less about locking and deleting threads, if your swearing and being offensive like you were just now, then of corse your post will be deleted

@above post, that seems painfully close to the truth

My hope is that a moderator will come on and put this thread out of it's misery. Bethesda has a game to build, and there is absolutely nothing positive that can come from a bunch of false allegations.

Skyrim is going to be awesome!

I'm not going to believe that these "too good to be true" features work before I see them with my own eyes.

I completely agree, but really - this topic is spent. :)

No one here is going to convince anyone of anything, to me it's like lawyers arguing over minutia - its utterly pointless.

It MUST be better than oblivion's, come on, do you really think they would advertise AGAIN radiant this, radiant that if they didn't have back up in the game? it's another 5 years that passed, I'm sure there will be good improvements in a.i. and story, be it radiant or not.

Yes I do think they would advertise that. Its one of the things that made peopel buy Oblivion, so they could say its in Skyrim, and then make up some story to why they didnt even up putting it in teh game. As previously stated, weve never actually seen radiant AI working.

I fear the worst and hope for the best.

Oblivion's famous radiant ai was a letdown compared to all the hype. There was lots of hot air in those previews back then.
