NVSE launching question

Post » Mon Nov 15, 2010 2:30 pm

How do I bypass the launcher and still load the game via NVSE? This is the .bat file I have now:

set SteamAppID=22380 nvse_loader.exe

But that doesn't work. Can it be done?

You aren't really supposed to use the nvse_loader.exe at all to load NV with NVSE. It's used for the GECK editor, but not the game.

Steam's in-game overlay loads NVSE.

Your batch file should have "FalloutNV.exe" as the second line to bypass the launcher. Unfortunately it still doesn't load NVSE and I never found a way to bypass the launcher and use NVSE at the same time.

If your using Wrye Flash NV at the bottom of the page is a small Green Box. Check it. Then a little to the right is an Icon of a small man. You can launch the game and NVSE at the same time clicking that.

I could be wrong! I read that Steam Launches NVSE when it starts.

Hope this helps.
