Scandinavian Folklore

God idé, fellow norseman!

I doubt we would see the specific Fenris Wolf, for example, but i would love if they used references from the norwegian/scandinavian/norse folklore. Just imagine venturing into a forlorn ruin and fighting of legendary beast for the ultimate artifact.

Or fighting a giant evil beast that guards a very, very large treasure.

Exactly what I fear. I hope they would would try to be a bit more original instead of repeating the million-times-seen viking setup. I'm sick of it.

Well, you know Bethesda. I'm sure they will think of something new. A litte inspiration from the Vikings would hurt, though.

When I was little I was terrified of n?kken, where I lived I used to have to walk past a huge waterfall on my way to and from school, and my mom always said n?kken lived in it and when kids wandered off into the forest he comes out and grabs them and drowns them in the waterfall :(

I never went inside that forest.
