Don't get your hopes up

Post » Sat Nov 20, 2010 10:43 pm

I'm pretty sure that Bethesda was already mostly finished with Skyrim when they announced it...i think now they are just working on sounds and fixing any problems, so don't expect them to be reading these ideas from this forum and putting them into the game. Even if they aren't nearly finished, i highly doubt they will come on this forum to get game ideas.

I assume they'll go to this forum for small improvements. They have nearly a year before release, so there's loads they can work on still.
But I doubt they'll incorporate anything major they might read on the forums.

Maybe not,but there is still DLC .
I don't know a great deal about game development, but doesn't 9-10 months sound like a lot of time to be fixing bugs/polishing etc?
Surely the can still add stuff....they even said in an interview they have far better tools now,to put things in game quicker from concept to the actual game.
Like i said i don't know a great deal.

tbh they most likely were done with it but that's not to say the ideas can't be in a DLC or something :intergalactic: :flamethrower:

Essentially the TESV speculation thread was turned into it's own subsection of the forum :P

My only expectation is another large TES game, with slightly more cultural and environmental diversity than Oblivion had, and a lore-rich narrative. Everything else is gravy to me. They would have to try very hard not to meet my baseline expectations.

Well, if they didn't add things to the game in a year they will make the game rock solid stable. This is something to have hope about.

Obviously lol. But would be so cruel as to deny everyone on the internet the illusion that they make a difference? We wouldn't have bieber haters if it wasn't for that :P

Also- its filler between actual content drops. On that note - has gameinformer finished its more or less exclusive coverage now? Is it time for the press free-for-all?
