I read that the soldiers shield ability is gone is this true?

Yeah i remember seeing it in an interview that they had to remove it as it wasn't as fun as they had wanted it to be and thought it would be.

Hopefully somebody can find a link as i'm on my phone and it would take a year.

They seem to have replaced it with the ability to have/hand out kevlar vests.

Yea the shield ability is gone.

Seems that the engineer has a buff and the soldier can give himself additional armor.

i like this better, its more to what SD wanted, team players not someone trying to go lone wolf with a heavy solider with shield on
