Pip Per Life?

easy question. so, the suppy or pip meter, does everything in the game effect that meter? or it just a meter for THAT life? like, when u respawn, will it spawn full?

Pips slowly regenerate, people can also throw supplies to you to give you a instant pip, whenn you respawn you start with full pips like wheb you start the match

My personal guesses with the degree of security.

The supply meter regenerates with time. (99%)

You spawn full. (80%)

You can be given supply pips by a medic (99%)

You spend supply pips by using skills (100%)

You can have a bigger supply bar with certain skills (50%) which won't necessarily be available to all classes.

You can have a faster supply regen speed with a medic skill (100%)

You can regenerate supply pips with a soldier skill called "skavenger" or somesuch.

I believe you start only with your base health (plus Battle Hardened if you have it). The rest of the pips are gained by Medic buffs and taking over Health Command Posts.

I haven't paid that close attention to revives and respawns, but since I gotta go to work, I unfortunately can't research and answer that at the moment.

He's talking about supply pips, not life pips.

Life Pips have to be filled (buffed) by a medic.

Supply pips regenerate over time. Medics can get an ability which improves supply-regeneration, Soldiers can get an ability to pick up supplies from fallen foes.

These have all been confirmed - the supply meter can be seen refilling in every video that shows enough gameplay to allow it to happen.

There's mention in the Brink Bible (among other places) of a universal ability that increases your supply bar - it was mentioned at the same time they scrapped the plan for Heavy characters to have more Supplies and Lights to have less.

I haven't seen confirmation of Medics having a faster Supply regen, but it would make sense and tie in with their ability to share Supplies with teammates. And the Soldier ability is called Scavenge (it was announced on Day 4 of the ability Facebook thing - there's a thread floating around with all the info)

This though its medics that can give you their pips.
