Ignorant npcs : IV - Oblivion

I had a weird one last week. My wizard character summoned a Daedroth and somehow it wound up killing an Imperial. I forget exactly how this happened.

Anyways, now my wizard has this huge bounty. He gets near a city, gets accused of a crime, and chooses to pay the fine.

He was at this point the Arch Mage as well as Champion of Cyrodiil, and along the way he's "bribed" lots of guards. He's well-liked by most guards, basically. So while he's on the road (after paying the fine) he walks by an Imperial who stops and says something like:

"You little murdering filcher!", obviously refering to the fact that my wizrd killed one of his brothers. The guy looks all agro, so my wizard walks over to him and talks to him.

"How can I assist you, Champion?" the guard now says with a smile. :facepalm: What a kiss-ass!

It's like he wants to beat the xxxx out of my character, but his disposition is too high, and he can't stay mad long enough!

I walk into a pub and wreak havoc. I burst in through the door waving my sword around, jump onto the table and kick all the cutlery in the faces of the patrons, pull out random trash from my inventory like some year old copy of the Black Horse Courier and toss it around the place along with my other useless stuff, then I start damaging their stuff by slicing at the chairs and walls. Stepping in food and kicking bottles around, and that's not even the worst of it. . . However, no one says a word, they continue their conversations and act as if I'm not even there. Some dumb-ass even has the audacity to pleasantly greet me while I'm in this state of anguish!

After I'm done raging. I decide to cool it and apologize. Lowering myself, I decide to pick up one of the bottles I kicked from the table in the back into the bartenders face. The second I touch it I hear a customer yell "Guards! Guards, there's a thief on the loose!"

I know right? In tha mages guild, when some guy is eating in the dinner table, I stand on the table and kick everything and he just says "Hello".
