Quick Q about which plugins can be merged with TES4Gecko

Post » Sun Dec 19, 2010 5:28 pm

I had an older load order without the recent mods I added saved in Wrye Bash. I enabled it, enabled about 10 mods at a time with SM Plugin and the DLC's loaded. As soon as Better Cities - house price patch.esp was checked in Wrye Bash the game did not start. Disabled it and it started again.

Just tried cleaning both plug-ins (SM and house price patch) according to this: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Tes4View#Choosing_Mods_to_Compare .

Still not working together...

Sounds like you know what you're doing. Look in the BC thread http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1084621-relzbananasplits-better-cities-thread-33/, I think there is something on the first post about compatabilities. Ask in there.

The patch was made by TheNiceOne for Enhanced Economy not by the BC team. I sent him a PM.

Thanks for all your help man, and Tom. Time to re-merge the UOMP and the DLC's again :shakehead:

You guys seem to be going kind of out of control with the cleaning and merging. There should be no need to clean SM Plugin Refurbish or Enhanced Economy. Both mods are actively worked on, so post in the mods' threads. It seems that you are cleaning way more than what is listed on the TES4Edit cleaning guide, cleaning mods with masters when you do not really know what your doing... Aren't your LOs short enough now?

I was just cleaning to see if it made a difference. I didn't clean Enhanced Economy, just the plug-in.

TomLong,

Any idea why that patch is conflicting with SM?

Apachii Goddess Store conflicts with it too, Oblivion doesn't load same thing.

EDIT: AkaviriStronghold-LostCoast fix.esp was causing all of the issues... Disabled that and all of the said mods work perfectly together. It also causes a Windows error sound when Oblivion loads. Now i'm even more confused...

I need you to post your load order, preferably with Wrye Bash. Is the conflict you are talking about showing in TES4Edit? What is the conflict? Post a screen shot of the conflicting records if you cannot interpret them.

You guys need to stop and breathe, because you're starting to find errors in things that are well known NOT to contain errors. Enhanced Economy, the ULs, and their patches are all well tested files that have no issues that hundreds of people are using without a problem.

Yes, Arthmoor helped clean at least half of the ULs. Slow down!
