Does Salmo Cobl.esp still require the original Salmo 2.6 to be installed?

No.

Edit: All of the resources are included with COBL.

Since we are talking Salmo, I have a question as well.

BOSS states this:

Salmo the Baker, Cobl.esp? MAY cause CTDs. Cause uncertain despite extensive debugging. Disable if experiencing a persistant crash.

I have been using it for a while now, and never really experienced anything related to the above. From all places I visited, the area around Salmo has been the most stable. So it makes me wonder, is it still relevant?

It happens for some, for some it does not, hence "MAY".

I have the COBL version of Salmo installed but during the stated business hours on the front door Salmo still doesn't "sell" his bread (no barter choice).. wierd

My Salmo stopped selling at all since I started using Bananasplit Better Cities.
Nevertheless I like having a good bakery, if am very hungry could 'borrow' coupla rolls.

Still, would be nice to have a fixed version. The Salmo_COBL_BC esp uploaded as test doesn't fix it.

Too bad Salmo the baker is abandoned. :(
I haven't noticed any problems when using Salmo the baker and Better Cities yet.

If Salmo is not selling his bread, I think a load order slot is going to free up when I get home...
