So i've noticed something during a few gameplay videos and the objective icon kept getting in the way!!!

Please ! Can the devs make it so when you aim at the icon is disapears? Much apreciated - Your patiently waiting customer. :)

Support from the community can help this change come to place. Shouldn't take long to fix anyway. Lets polish a great game to come. <3 <3 <3

Maybe not dissapear, but I'd like for it to be see-through, so you can see both your target and the objective.

with all the things on screen at once i doubt a single icon will bug me much when ive played games that show multiple objective icons at once

There's probably a toggle to turn such HUD elements off.

There's probably a toggle option, and I'd expect also to see a "transparency" option so you can still see them but without them blocking line of sight, but I'd prefer they keep them - objectives are more important than kills, and you shouldn't be running in a straight line directly at the objective while firing at someone running in a straight line directly at you. And neither of you should be standing perfectly still. it's BRINK, not Campers-R-Us!

Let be logical about this, more than likely the game will give you the ability to change the opacity of the menus.

Lets be more logical about this, the OP said nothing about menus. It's a HUD element. It could go either way. So as you keep saying, we'll have to wait and see (I'm expecting that SD will allow adjustment of the opacity of objective markers though)

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars did that. Several objective icons on the screen, and you could make them transparent, boldly solid, or just gone.

True but iam sure they probably check them out from time to time like any good dev would. Also i completely agree with OP i love how when iam playing capture the flag in cod and iam looking threw my acog at the flag the tag disappears, Unlike in homefront where you scope into the the point there's somebody standing on it and you cant see him cause there is a big green B covering his body. With this being said there is not any sort of option in either game to turn this on or off or lower the opacity at all.

It is still unlikly SD would see this,if the OP wanted this concern to be noticed he should of went to the SD forums, tho im sure they have fixed this problem already.

I doubt it will be much of a problem and if you can't keep a bead on your target for the two or three shots it will take you to move beyond the objective marker then you have bigger things to be worrying about.

Ive played several games where the objective icon can get in the way. Even if its transparent, its still distracting and hard to aim through it. I would prefer if there was a more active solution. Make it more transparent as it nears the center of your screen, or make it so that the icon cannot occupy the same spot as your crosshair and instead gets pushed to the side.

Your worrying far too much about such a small detail lol. It's not like aiming at the objective marker your immediately flash-banged and knocked unconscious or anything... Or maybe that's exactly what happens?

I'm pretty sure Splash Damage is smart enough to figure this out on their own.

I've lost count of the amount of times in an FPS game I'll be running to an objective and it's icon starts shooting me and I die... it's a huge flaw when HUD has the chance to cover enemies, it would be nice to have opacity options.
